12V solenoid Version 4
Every component of this solenoid has been redesigned to maximize the life and improve the feedback. The spring and coil have been improved to allow for very low hold current, the shaft has been extended for a longer throw and higher hit velocity and it uses a pure copper coil to ensure a strong magnetic field to get the hardest hitting feedback without breaking the bank. The shaft also has a Teflon coating to ensure long life and prevent a stuck solenoid.
These solenoids hit about twice as hard as normal aftermarket solenoids and use about 50W of power each, so they are very powerful. They can also be run at 24v if desired where they will use over 200w of power per solenoid and you can modify how hard they hit and the throw distance by adjusting the mounting bracket.
Currently testing a batch of solenoids with over 10 million hits and counting with no failures — When testing normal aftermarket solenoids, they were failing at just 100,000 hits, so these will last MUCH longer. These solenoids should outlast the cabinet when used with the life extender boards that I sell.
These solenoids come prewired so you can connect them directly to your board. Polarity does not matter. For proper operation they should be used with a life extender
